“One of my biggest struggles before training with Caroline was working out consistently. I found a reason not to work out. Hiring a coach gave me accountability and motivation. I have seen my body maintain it’s muscle tone and strength as I have aged and as I enter into perimenopause. Turning 50 is tough. I have also had breast cancer. Working out with Caroline has helped me physically and mentally keep a focus and drive that I might not have without her support. Health is wealth! Caroline also trains my mother and daughter. “Before working out with Caroline I was active in volleyball but I barely knew anything about weightlifting. I had never even lifted a barbell! I needed someone to teach me how to do exercises with proper technique— something Caroline excels at. Rather than having me go straight into going under the barbell, she led me through weeks and weeks of squat training, even starting with squatting down to a medicine bell. Since training with Caroline, I have become so strong and I am so proud! I grew up thinking I would never compete in weightlifting or track, but after working with Caroline, I did both! A huge reason for this is I enjoyed training with Caroline, while simultaneously improving. I believed I could do both sports! Indeed, I placed in the top of the country for both sports. Physically, I have gained so much muscle on the skinny frame I began with! My body is more explosive and powerful. Recently, we’ve added in HIIT closer workouts, which shows in my increased endurance on the beach volleyball court! “Before training with Caroline, I spent a lot of time googling and watching videos on the proper way to do the CrossFit movements. While that did help some, I couldn’t see what mistakes I was making when I was doing the movements. It is valuable to me to have Caroline watch me do the movements so she can give me feedback. She picks up on the smallest mistakes and it makes an enormous difference. The best thing that has happened to me since I started working out with Caroline is being able to do a "Snatch" weightlifting move. This was my goal! I can now Snatch 75lbs and this is huge for me. The reason this was so important to me is because I knew it was possible, I just did not know how to get there, and Caroline made that happen! Just sign-up, leave the rest up to Caroline. Caroline always starts our workouts by asking, "How is the body feeling?". She makes it a priority to not over-do. Another big advantage to working out with Caroline is she will make suggestions regarding other exercises to do on my own. And she is responsive to my texts when I have questions. “

“I've been training with Caroline for more than a year. I wanted to improve my fitness, strength and ability in certain areas, and I knew that to really do that I needed to work hard and follow the guidance of a professional. I am not a self motivator when it comes to working out! I shared with Caroline my goals, and we got to work. Initially I was only training with her once a week, but I am now training with her three times a week. She is attuned to my strengths and weaknesses and always pushes me to do more than I think I possibly can. I trust that she has my best interests at heart, and I work harder with her than I would working out by myself. It also helps that I don't have to think about what I need to do. She tells me what we're going to do, and I do it. For me, it's been imperative to take the guesswork out of the equation and just do what a professional trainer tells me to do. Caroline pushes me to be a better version of myself every day, and I am grateful. I don't want to let myself down, but I also don't want to let her down.
